Other noteworthy items include the honor of representing the BIA in 1998 at the International Congress on Child Abuse and Neglect in Auckland, New Zealand. The Family and Child Education Program (FACE) staff presented at this international conference and participated in a cultural exchange with the Maori people of New Zealand.
