The success of Blackwater Community School depends on the involvement of the Community. Community members are encouraged to participate in school improvement and to select, vote and support your School Board of Trustees.

The five-member board is elected from District 1, District 2 and District 3 of the Gila River Indian Community School. Each member serves a three-year term. Present members:
